After a career working in award-winning restaurants all over the country and developing innovative restaurant concepts and advising other food brands, Chef Arik Markus has created his own line of sauces to help home cooks bring the street food flavor of his hometown of New York City into everyday dishes. 

Constantly inspired by his travels, restaurant career, and the vendors on every corner, when Chef Arik was stuck at home in 2020 on a steady diet of easy-to-find staples  he leaned on his experiences to add variety and zest to meals for his family. He wanted to spice up his simple meals and the store didn’t have options that fit his standards or matched the dishes he wanted to elevate-so with his extra time at home, he made them himself. What started as an at-home project for family and friends turned into something more. 

He was inspired to bring those flavors he was craving not only into his home but into the pantries of other curious eaters.
